I work about 33 hrs a week.. this week I worked about 36. My dr told me I need to cut it down a lot because i'm not getting a break. I take care of kids and go to work and i'm so tired.
Not sure if I can just 'cut it down' though.

kristy i am in the same bought as you. i take care of the kids all day plus my nephew since its summer and then my husband gets home i basically kiss him hi then kiss him bye. i don't get home sometimes til 1am and then i have insomnia to boot so here i am online at 1:20am grrr i should be sleeping. and then the kids will be up no later then 7am. i don't get usually more then 5 hours a sleep a night. i no longer have time to exercise and if i did i would be too freaking tired. i have gained 10lbs back. i am like begging tim to let me quit my job because i hate it. i wouldn't care as much about working this many hours if i liked my job

The thing is.. I don't mind my job. It's pretty easy and goes by quick. I hate getting there though.. that's the worst part. lol My dr asked me how my day was and I said:
wake up around 9-10am with kids
try to stay up
play/do stuff with kids while i'm so tired
go to work at 5pm leaving at 4:30pm
my hubby meanwhile comes home around 6pm so I never see him during the week.
I come home usually between 12:30-2:30am
go to bed usually an hr after I come home
wake up again.
On Sundays I work 2pm-12am

My hubby said he misses me cooking dinner and having the house nice. lol I think i've gotta look into having someone look after the kids for me maybe 2x a week and then for about 2 hrs when I go to work before wayne comes home. My grandmother does it and I feel so bad. Plus she won't be able to do this once Winter hits.
Anyone know where to look for a nanny/caretaker? or whatever.

On Wendsday I believe it was I had a dr appt at 8-8:30am so that means I had to wake up at 6:30 to get me and the kids ready and dogs out and stuff. I didn't get to bed till 3am that morning... I was dead.

My husband told me tonight that I need to stop working. That i'm not the 'working' type. He said it was too much work for me. I'm not sure if I should feel good about that comment or not. lol

well i don't know if you need to stop working because you seem to enjoy the time and im sure the money helps. even if its just extra money for you. i think you just need to drop down your hours. the problem with my job is i told them i didn't want to work more then 20 hours a week and i don't think i have worked less then 30 since i started

I told my job the same thing. But they just want to work me the most you can for part time and not give me benefits. I know that's what it is. I also said 8 hrs is the most I want to work in a day. Instead I work 10 a day on Sundays. (but I do have an hr lunch)

I work 40 hours a week, take care of Aidan, and I am 6 months pregnant. I also cook, clean, and take care of my cat. Sometimes I watch my neice and/or nephew on the weekend.
Tim works third shift and has since Aidan was an infant, so we are hardly home at the same time.

Got too much. I only get paid every other week with Wal-Mart so I was having to pay $120 of my check in every other week just for 1 day for Emily and 2 for Koby. I'm thinking of putting them back but not to the same place. The last time I left there the guy gave Koby a piece of hard yellow candy.

I am a stay at home mom for now, but September 1st I'm starting school back up again. I don't want to be a sahm forever, especially once my two are in school, I would go nuts at home.

Actually.. I take that back. I paid $240 every other week. So yeah $120 a week. Too much for just the little amount they were going.. and like I said. That hard yellow candy was stupid to give him.
